The Kakehashi Project is coordinated by JACL and the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) and supported by funding from the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. JACL is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Kakehashi Project. The first deadline to apply for the September 5-13, 2016 trip is July 15th.

Applicants must be (1) a student currently enrolled in accredited college or university OR a young professional who has completed a minimum of a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university (2) between the ages of 18-25 year old Japanese American and Asian American heritage.
Applicants do not need to be JACL members, so feel free to spread the word to any friends, family, and organizations that might be interested. There are 200 spots to fill!
