Community Action Sessions

In Summer 2018, the San Jose JACL initiated the Community Action Sessions, open public meetings to respond to the hate, bigotry, and inhumane policies that were emerging at the national level. This year we will continue these informal get-togethers. The primary purpose is to share ideas for “everyday activism” – easy things that each of us can do to make a difference in today’s political climate. This year, we are also planning guest speakers who will bring insights from past activism efforts in the Japanese American community.

Meetings are free and open to the public. Depending on the activities planned, we may sometimes require RSVPs. Watch your emails and social media for details on topics and speakers!
